I’m a firm believer that there are only two kinds of advice; bad and very bad. Sometimes, though, I have to call my belief system into question, at least until I can forget about the conflicting information. Anyway, Allie at The Perfect Defect has compiled a list of good advice she’s gleaned from her friends into a “depression toolbox“. I’m glad. I’ll just bookmark hers and not have to do anything except point and click. Good stuff.

Cool deal- I’ll have to check that out, especially given what’s happened over at The Den recently. Sigh…

If you're interested in reading a fairly detailed account of addiction and depression, Cracked Head Memoirs might be for you. It basically tells how it was and what happened. Writing it helped me go from active addiction to recovery yet again.
