blogger buds vs. meat world buds

Why are blogger buds better than real world friends? I can think of a few reasons right off the top of my head.

  • You’ll never have to help them move.
  • It’s much easier to say no when they want to borrow money.
  • They can’t borrow your tools.
  • They can’t borrow your cds.
  • You don’t have to worry about them trying to screw your significant other.
  • You don’t have to worry about you trying to screw their significant other.
  • You don’t have to watch their house and/or take care of their pets when they go out of town.
  • You don’t have to pretend to like their other friends.
  • You don’t have to pretend to like their kids
  • You don’t have to worry about their kids hooking/knocking up your kids or yours and their kids stealing a black and white and crashing it into a building.

I’m sure there are hundreds more. Any thoughts?

    – You’re only a keystroke away from a sending a note of encouragement.
    – You never have to worry about how you look when you’re sending an email.
    – Connecting with a blogger bud is easier than connecting with a friend in the “real world” (just click on send).

You can take a sly peak at friends of friends like I’m doing now…

If you move house you don’t have to make sure everyone gets a card with your new address.

I HATE having to help real-life friends move. My husband has a truck so we get recruited all the time to help people move.

If you're interested in reading a fairly detailed account of addiction and depression, Cracked Head Memoirs might be for you. It basically tells how it was and what happened. Writing it helped me go from active addiction to recovery yet again.
