update on shaking hands

Yesterday morning my hands were shaking badly enough to make it a tad difficult to type. I strongly suspect a caffeine connection. Usually I drink 1 mug of coffee in the morning, first thing, and that’s it. Maybe twice a week I’ll have another sometime around 10 am. Occasionally, if I’ve only had one cup in the morning, I may drink a cup for an afternoon pick-me-up. Almost never, anymore, do I pound two cups back-to-back. I did yesterday though. I was sort of groggy from all the sleep and perhaps the previous day’s sedation so I had a second cup within an hour of the first. Before I was halfway through my hands were shaking much more than I’m comfortable with. I think there’s some sort of synergistic affect going on with the Welbutrin, the Zoloft, and the caffeine. This morning I had just one cup. Can’t remember if my hands were shaking or not so it must not have been too bad.

When I was on Wellbutrin, I had a bad case of shaking hands all the time. It might be a side effect of that med.

If you're interested in reading a fairly detailed account of addiction and depression, Cracked Head Memoirs might be for you. It basically tells how it was and what happened. Writing it helped me go from active addiction to recovery yet again.
